Biembi is an Italian company specialising in the creation, production and distribution of greetings cards, gift cards, leisure accessories and merchandising.
To support the launch of its new women’s fashion accessory lines and its own youth brand, Biembi entrusted BMP with the task of generating visibility for the new products and ramping up the profile of existing ranges.
As this was Biembi’s first foray into communication, BMP’s support initially took the form of consultancy services to define the key messages that would convey the company’s positioning and differentiators.
Subsequently, the agency designed and implemented a programme of media relations based on the creation of compelling content within product announcements, each timed to support the company’s go-to-market milestones and to constantly maximise editorial opportunities (for example by exploiting relevant seasonal calendar events and festivities).
In particular, BMP committed special focus to achieving coverage in product showcases – media features dedicated to exploring what’s new on the market, often by category.
In this way, Biembi gained visibility for its mass-market product offering that it had never enjoyed before, across target media including Donna Moderna, Confidenze, Stop, Oggi, Ragazza Moderna and Men’s Health.
