Startups

Let’s launch! Our projects for Addoor, EASYRECRUE, Moovit and Tales Factory

When the customer is a startup on a limited budget, BMP can provide a project-based service, making it possible for the business to optimise the available resources and maximise its ROI.

Below are four examples.

1. Addoor is a digital marketing company that leads the market in its native Spain and is active in many other Spanish-speaking countries.

Having taken the decision to enter the Italian market, the company entrusted its launch activities to BMP. At the client’s request, efforts were concentrated on targeted media relations outreach to address the key titles in the Marketing and Communications sector.

BMP thus organised an exclusive preview interview between ADVexpress and the CEO of Addoor, with the objective of articulating the Spanish newcomer’s value proposition in deeper detail.

Subsequently, BMP created and distributed a press release to introduce the company and its offering, which was fully effective in achieving the desired results, the announcement being picked up by the main sector titles including Dailyonline.it, Pubblicom, Idee Ideas, Pubblicità Italia, Annuario Media&Sport, Spot&Web, Engage, Media Key and Advertiser.

2. EASYRECRUE is a French company that provides human resources solutions

EASYRECRUE’s technology platform enables recruiters to pre-select the best talent via live or pre-recorded video interviews.

To introduce itself to the Italian market – in particular to large enterprises and professional HR organisations – EASYRECRUE entrusted its press launch to BMP, who localised the company’s existing literature, produced many new supporting documents, and then organised a double day of introductory interviews.

In Milan and Rome, the CEO and the Country Manager for Italy – having received appropriate media training from BMP – met a selection of key journalists, resulting in coverage in TG3 (the newscast of national TV station RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana), business titles such as Italia Oggi, Business People and Business Community, culture, fashion and current affairs magazines including Vanity Fair, vertical publications such as AziendaBanca and IT titles such as DataManager and Cor.Com.

3. Moovit – a real-time app for sharing public transport information in towns and cities across the world

To launch Moovit in the cities of Milan, Rome and Turin, the Israeli company turned to BMP to organise its media relations outreach.

BMP produced and localised, for each of the three cities, an introductory press release presenting the app and articulating its innovative functionality. Intensive follow-up with journalists ensured that the announcement gained coverage in important national and local titles, as well as specialist publications (mobile, tourism and youth) and TV programmes, including la Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, Panorama, Pianeta Cellulare, iPhone Mania, Solo Tablet, Turismo Italia, Turisti in Viaggio and Tech & The City (on Italia 7 Gold).

In a few short weeks, the app was downloaded more than 40,000 times by local users in the three cities.

4. Tales Factory – digital publishing house for children’s story apps

The company chose BMP for the media presentation and launch of its first two titles, Gaudì, l’orsetto bruno (Gaudì the Baby Brown Bear) and Le avventure di Bobo (The Adventures of Bobo).

As a result of BMP’s press office activities, Tales Factory and its app gained significant visibility in national and local dailies, technology and app magazines, online publications for parents and children, cultural and news websites and in many spaces elsewhere.

Apart from the successful coverage achieved in (amongst many others) Il Giorno, Il Secolo XIX, Style, Megamodo and iPad Italia, the news also attracted the attention of parenting blogs and communities – such as Pianeta Mamma and RobedaMamma – thanks to a targeted process of identifying, selecting and contacting key influencers.

Emanuela Colò

Founder, Tales Factory

Having worked in the world of communication for many years, I consider myself to be ‘in the trade’! So when I founded Tales Factory, I had no hesitation in choosing BMP for the launch of our business and of our first app aimed at children.

Francesco, Michela and Pietro are excellent, proactive and passionate professionals, with solid experience and a rare ability to interpret and respond to the client’s needs both at a strategic and tactical level. BMP has produced genuine results in return for what was certainly a fruitful investment.
